Focusing on the Pastel de Nata, Sunil made it his mission to offer the unique experience of enjoying this century-old delicacy to as many people as possible.

Our story begins with the personal experience of Sunil Dwarkasing, a businessman who fell in love with Portugal and was amazed by the Portuguese cafés, the most popular gathering place for locals and tourists in Lisbon and other major Portuguese cities. These cafés are the guardians of the Portuguese people’s identity, and here coffee (of the highest quality) is almost always served with the country’s most famous dessert, the authentic Pastel de Nata.
